“Unbelievable!” – Dave Barnett, Managing Director, Aaron Rail

This month, we have our spotlight on James, who has been working as an apprentice in the role of HR Assistant at Aaron.

His journey started in November 2022 after a short search for an apprentice position in the HR Industry – the process included an online application followed by a two-stage interview, which he admits was rather stressful as he was very interested in the role advertised.

James is currently giving all he’s got, working during the day and completing his CIPD course at night, with the end goal being to obtain his Masters’ Degree in HR.

Although relatively new to the industry, James has already decided it is one in which he would want to invest his future in, despite the current challenges he experiences on a daily basis, which motivate him and feed his drive to “make sure everything done right”.

With his position currently expanding, his typical day includes scheduling training for out-of-office staff, handling leave requests and assisting on projects.
