Project scope

Aaron FM was commissioned to build a new office in the EMCC Control Room. Works included:

Take out of glazed panels and removal from site

Construction of 70mm metal stud wall, with British Gypsum Gyproc Fireline Plasterboard 2400mm x 1200mm x 12.5mm to both sides, with Isover Acoustic Partition Roll APR 1200 (13000mm x 1200mm x 50mm), walls to be skim finished

MDF head timber to finish under metal ceiling to create detail to top of wall

Supply and installation of double set FD30 min paint grade fire doors with glazed aperture to match existing, with fire rated frame

Take up raised floor tiles adjacent to new wall and installation of 50mm Rockwool Ablative Coated Batt to form fire barrier in raised floor void

Installation of 100mm MDF skirting to all new partition wall and matching architrave to new doorset

Application of mist coat and two coats of emulsion to all new partition walls – Colour TBC

Application of undercoat and two top coats of gloss to all new woodwork, including 2 no. doors

Re-lay carpet tiles after wall complete

Move ceiling vent – Assuming these are on flexi hose
