Aaron Rail, a specialist rail engineering company, has recently completed a project at the Hitachi Depot in Stoke Gifford.

Representing a significant investment, Aaron Rail’s specialist team were responsible for the installation of a 230m grp walkway with grp handrail at the Bristol site.

Aaron Rail is part of the multi-disciplined Aaron Group of companies, providing rail and civil engineering solutions to the rail sector across the UK. The company offers full planning and installation services.

Members of the team there say it was a privilege to work on such a high profile project, being one of three depots housing Hitachi’s fleet of long-distance intercity express trains that operate on the Great Western Mainline (GWML).

The facilities at Stoke Gifford comprise a maintenance building with two full-length internal roads, stabling and servicing roads, a carriage wash plant and a wheel lathe building, as well as 20km of track.
