His career began in the mining industry, where he honed his skills as an overman, prioritising safety in every aspect of his work. Transitioning to the railway sector, Andrew took on pivotal roles, including Senior Safety Advisor at Balfour Beatty and RISQS Auditor at RSSB, where he played a crucial role in enhancing safety protocols and compliance standards
