In a bid to give back to the community and support charitable causes, Aaron Rail has proudly sponsored and fielded teams for two prestigious charity golf days: The Cider Cup for Amey Rail and the Volkerrailstory JV competition at Sickleholme Golf Club, both aimed at raising funds for Diabetes UK and Alzheimer’s Society.
The Cider Cup, organised by Amey Rail, brings together rail industry leaders in a friendly yet competitive golf tournament. It serves as a platform for networking and collaboration while contributing several high-profile charitable causes.
The Volkerrailstory JV tournament, held at Sickleholme Golf Club event, similarly, combines the spirit of sportsmanship with philanthropy. This tournament not only celebrates the love of golf but also champions the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, one of the most pressing health concerns of our time, and supports the valuable work of Diabetes UK.
