Aaron Rail is deeply saddened to report the death of a member of our trackside team whilst working on an overnight shift.

Samuela Lalakato was part of a cable pulling team when he suffered a heart attack on the night of Monday 20th February.

CPR was administered by colleagues and paramedics at the scene, but they were sadly unable to resuscitate him. 

Samuela was a former member of the British Army and a highly valued member of the team at Aaron Rail; he will be greatly missed by colleagues and friends alike. 

Samuela is survived by his wife and five children; we would like to extend our deepest condolences to his entire family.
